  Do you know how the ancient people communicate with each other? Dating back to hundreds years ago, people sent letters to each other by birds. Decades ago, a career called '' mailman'' came out. Time slips; as the technology improves, fortunately, we are able to talk to our friends or families in distance through a special invention--telephone.
  Nowadays, there is no exaggeration to say that telephones play a significant role in our lives. If it had not been for invention, we might not have chatted with our classmates after school, or called our parents for urgent information. On the contrary, with the telephones, you can tell the gossips to your friends instantly you just learned on the way home rather than waiting until Monday, and also, you may ask the homework lying on a couch with a pack of chips filling your mouth via a telephone. To sum up, we can't live without telephones at the present.
